Project : Mobius t-shirt cowl
Needle : US 11
yarn : t-shirt yarn

Cast on 60 stitches using Cat Bordhi's
mobius cast on. knit one round, purled one round til ran almost out of "yarn."

amazingly warm. very stretchy. easy way to use up an otherwise usely couple of t's. bought the t's at a rummage sale for a quater a piece. cut into strips about 1/2" wide. connect "yarn" using
rag tutorial. i think that i need to make more of these. super easy and mobius is addictive. give it a try folks!

upclose and personal.
Your t-shirt yarn turned out great - I had been anticipating broomstick-size needles to work the yarn, but it looks like you got some nice, thin strips.
ReplyDeleteI love the t-shirt yarn! I once knit a bathmat out of the stuff (Which was absolutely delicious, by the way). I wonder whatever happened to it... hmm. Anyway, I have yet to knit a moebius of any sort, but maybe one of these days. Yours turned out great! :)
